Reflections on the Quest: God’s Power…in me?!

I was chewing on a remarkable statement this morning.  “Now to Him who is able to do immeasureably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen” (Ephesians 3:20,21).  I’ve often rejoiced in God’s omnipotence as it is proclaimed in this verse.  He can do more than I can imagine!  What’s the proof?  His power is already at work!  In fact, it is at work in me!  If you are in Christ, the same can be said of you.  God is molding and making us into the image of His Son.  He is the Potter.  We are the clay.  He is working on us.  Then, perhaps even more remarkably, He is working through us!  If you know yourself as well as I know myself, these thoughts completely blow your mind!  Marvel with me this Wednesday.
